Greenacres Shopping Centre, Port Elizabeth’s biggest shopping centre, opened its glass doors on 22 October 1981 and 26 years on, the shopping centre is still regarded as the “Fashion Mecca” of the Eastern Cape.

Disabled Shoppers:
The Greenacres Shopping Centre is disabled and wheelchair friendly. To ensure that you experience all Greenacres Shopping Centre has to offer, disabled-friendly shopping trolleys are available.

Parking

At Greenacres Shopping Centre, we offer two choices in parking facilities. Apart from the usual outside parking spaces, the shopping centre offers a three-level parking facility with over 1000 parking bays situated on the Northern side of the building. Two levels of this facility are under cover, while the rooftop is open space.

Safety and ease of access to the whole shopping centre adds to the convenience of using this parking facility. Parking tariffs for this facility are very competitive.

Service Desk

Greenacres Shopping Centre has increased its customer services by providing shoppers with a service desk. This desk is located underneath the escalators as you come through the undercover parking entrances. In an effort to provide customers with the highest standards of quality they are accustomed to with Greenacres Shopping Centre. This station also provides easier wheelchair access.

Greenacres Shopping Centre has the ideal thing to keep your child busy and happy! Children trolleys are as useful as a normal trolley with added benefits. On the trolley there is a setting area for children. These bright colourful trolley’s are available free of charge at Greenacres Shopping Centre. To hire one of these trolleys you’re ID or driver’s license needs to be shown. A R50 refundable deposit is charged if the trolleys are not brought back within the 3hour time line the R50 becomes none refundable.

Whilst we strive to adhere to the times prescribed, please note that if for some unforeseen reason the service desk is closed and you need a children’s trolley or a wheelchair trolley, please feel free to contact Centre Management on the 1st floor in the office towers and we will be happy to assist. If you are in need of a wheelchair and the service desk is closed please contact the information kiosk near the Woolworths court.
